It does not involve exploring the past or working through intense emotions. Coaching is usually short-term and goal-oriented, aimed at helping you achieve your life goals & learn self-care practices. This is different from therapy, clinical psychology or psychiatry. Coaching is very effective in the right circumstances but uses different methods, follows a different approach and serve a different purpose.
